Panama Band was formed 40 years ago by two brothers Robert Lee, Gerald Lee and Troy Gilliam.  Coming from a family of singers, musicians and dancers, it was easy for these three young men to develop the mold for this versatile group. Their careers were launched at the ages of 12 and 15 performing on shows with Eddie kendricks, the O’Jays, the softones, Rick James and the list goes on.    In 1996 Panama was invited to perform at the Presidential inaugural after party.  Panama Band has appeared on every major Festival, Venue and Club in the DMV area.  Panama has continued to build a reputation as being the pinnacle group residing in the DMV.  For 40 years Panama Band continues to be in constint demand.  The group has so much charisma!! PANAMA has performed for every political office of BALTIMORE CITY and MARYLAND. PANAMA have such a extensive song selection that allows them to perform for many corporate, weddings and private affairs. 

Panama Band has had the privilege to appear on shows with Al Green, cameo the Whispers, the Dells,, Ray Goodman &Brown, Jean Carne, the Gap Band, The Marvelettes, The Manhattans, Clarence Carter, Joycelyn Brown, Alexander O’Neil, SOS Band, Wilson Picket the Stylistics, The Chi-Lites, Tina Marie, Franky Beverly & Maze, Tank, Carl Thomas, and Raheem Devont.  Panama is made up of musicians that has toured internationally to Japan, China, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. 

Panama repertoire includes all genres of music such as Motown, Pop, R&B, Rock, Disco, Hip Hop, Ballads and Raw Funk. All Performances are with high intense energy that will leave you craving for more. Panama Band is a class Act!
